WOMEN'S X COUNTRY: STRONG FINISH

The Hornets placed second overall at the 2013 Orange Empire Conference Cross Country Championships held at Irvine Regional Park on Friday.

Rounding out the top-10 was Chloe Reeves of Santiago Canyon College, Maegan Garritson and Daisy Esparza of Fullerton College, Allison Nagel from OCC and Marissa Jimenez of Riverside City College.

With four of the top-five finishers coming across the finish line, Orange Coast College claimed the 2013 OEC title.  The Pirates finished with a total of 20 points as a team with Fullerton totaling 55 points. The closest finish of the day was between Riverside with 101 points and Santa Ana with 105 points.
