FOOTBALL: TWICE IS NICE
On Tuesday, Hornet defensive back Xavion Steele was named the National Division Player of the Week on defense for the second time this season.
Leading the team with 39 tackles, Steele earned the honor earlier this year in week 2 and now for week 7.
Steele had a busy day in a win against Palomar leading the Hornets in tackles with 7 tackles (5 solo, 2 assisted). Xavion also had 2 breakups along with a pick-6 that he took back 85 yards to the house.
