MEN'S SOCCER: HORNETS SHUTOUT MUSTANGS

Fullerton hosted another Orange Empire Conference game on Tuesday enforcing a 2-0 shutout over Norco College.

The shutout marks FC's 10th this season as they continue to ride in first place with a conference record of 9-1-2 and an overall record of 14-2-2. The Norco loss bumps them to 2-7-2 OEC and 5-7-3 overall.

After a scoreless first half, the Hornet's AJ Yazid broke the ice scoring the first goal of the game in the 65th minute on a nice tap-in right in front of the goalie. Jacob Aldana was credited with the assist.

Fullerton scored the final goal five minutes later on a driving shot by Danny Abreggo-Fulton with the assist coming from Carlos Esparza.

FC goalie Kevan Rehmani was strong in the box with his 8th shutout win on 5 saves.

Up Next: The No. 5 in state Hornets (14-2-2 overall, 9-1-2 OEC) will play again on Tuesday, November 6th when they host Santiago Canyon College. Game time is at 3:00 pm.
