MEN’S SOCCER: 8 GOAL WIN

After suffering two consecutive losses with only one goal scored, the FC men's soccer team exploded with an 8-0 victory over visiting Santiago Canyon College on Friday.

Alejandro Castillo was a scoring machine locking down the hat-trick (3 goals). He put away the first goal in the 7th minute with the assist coming from Ryan Meinardus.

In the 15th minute, Meinardus fed Manny Tovar who popped the ball into the back of the net.

Castillo hit his second goal of the day in the 22nd minute with the assist by Meinardus.

Kentrell Dorsey got in on the scoring action with a successful shot in the 35th minute. The assist was by Meinardus for his fourth assist on the day.

Arnold Gomez assisted Meinardus for a goal in the 61st minute and Chris Smith put one away in the 63rd minute. The assist was by Kyle Thomas.

Brian Alvarez scored in the 80th minute and the assist came from Dorsey.

After a busy day, Castillo wrapped up the game scoring his 3rd goal in the 84th minute. Smith was credited with the assist.

Up Next: Fullerton (10-5-3 overall, 5-4-3 conference) will get back at it on Tuesday, November 12th when they travel to district rival Cypress College. Game time is at 3:00 pm.
