The FC men's soccer team took a trip down the road to Cypress College on Tuesday afternoon for the Orange Empire Conference opener and finished with a 1-1 tie.
The Chargers came out with some firepower early in this match scoring the first goal of the game in the 14th minute on a shot from the far side of the field by Isaac Morales, but five minutes later the Hornets answered the call with a successful penalty kick goal by Max Ron. With both teams putting on a physical defensive clinic, the score remained in a 1-1 tie until the clock reached 90 minutes.
