MEN'S TRACK & FIELD: SUCCESS IN SAN DIEGO

The Hornets had some good performances Saturday going up against some of Southern California's best track athletes at the Arnie Robinson Invitational in San Diego.

Justin Walker continued his success finishing second in the 110m HH in 14.62 seconds and in the Long Jump at 23' 5".

Pablo Perez took a couple of second place finishes in the 800m and 5000m. Perez's time of 1:55.72 in the 800m ranks him 12th in all of Southern California.

In the throwing events, Francisco Padilla took 6th in the Shot Put at 42' 6.5" and in the Discus he threw 132' 2", a five-foot personal best. The Hornets 4 x 100m-relay team finally got into the action taking 2nd in 44.4 seconds.

Up Next: The Hornets have a bye this week, but will be back in action on April 15th when they face their Orange Empire Conference foes, Riverside and Saddleback Colleges.
