HORNETS QUALIFY FOR THE SOCAL REGIONALS
The FC men's team finished in 5th place at the Orange Empire Conference Championships last week and will travel to Bakersfield for the SoCal Regionals this Friday, November 4th.
The top seven Hornets runners (Langley Turrietta, Cyrus Burton, Luis Diaz, Jakob Salvas, Steven Castro, Trent Snyder, and Orion Chavatipon) will race at the SoCal Regional Championships.
The men are currently ranked No. 15 overall in Southern California. The team has placed as high as fifth in previous meets and have finished in the top 10 spots throughout the season. This group has been running closer together and having sophomore leadership along with experience on the team has been advantageous with their success.
Eva Bond will represent the women at the SoCal Regionals after finishing in 9th place overall at the OEC Championships. Bond's strong finish earned her the prestigious award of 2nd Team All-Orange Empire Conference.
