FC SCHOLAR ATHLETE PAYTON BABINEAU TO LONG BEACH STATE

Two-year scholar athlete Payton Babineau will be attending Long Beach State.

 

Headed to Long Beach State this fall, Payton will be majoring in liberal studies. While at Fullerton College, Payton earned two degrees- one in the IDS Social Behavior and one in IDS Social Science. She worked hard achieving a 4.0 GPA all four semesters, while being selected by the FC Athletic Department for the Mike Steinkellner Scholar Athlete Award. Babineau was a Presidential Scholar every semester as well as the Dean's Honor Roll each semester. She was also a two-time NFCA Scholar Athlete. 

 

Payton had opportunities to play softball at the four-year level, but she decided to focus on her education.

 

"Payton has been such a blessing to Coach, she has a wonderful attitude, and her work ethic is unmatched. She spent her time at a Fullerton College leading by example and always taking pride in being a Hornet. We are going to miss her", FC Coach Marian "Speedy" Mendoza.
