The Hornet win gives them an overall record of 6-17 and an Orange Empire Conference record of 2-6. The loss knocks Cypress back a notch at 14-11 overall and 5-3 in the OEC.

In the first half, FC shot 40% from the floor to Cypress' 25% giving the Hornets a 30-23 lead heading into the second half.

The second half was all Fullerton as they held a healthy lead over the Chargers shooting 52% to Cypress' 29%.  Their biggest lead was 18 points with 3:58 left in the game.
