WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: COBB SIGNS WITH LA VERNE!
Sophomore guard Noelle Cobb made it official today signing with the University of La Verne.
A two-year starter for the Hornets, Noelle posted strong numbers scoring a career 738 points, 339 rebounds, 115 assists, and 72 steals.
"Noelle has made us all very proud. I have no doubt that her abilities on the court and in the classroom will blossom at La Verne. It's a fantastic institution and they're getting a fantastic student-athlete", Hornet Head Coach Marcia Foster.
A 1st team All-Orange Empire Conference selection, Cobb ranks third in the record books in points scored in a single game with 38 against Saddleback on January 16, 2015.
"Now that I am going from a Hornet that can sting to a Leopard, I know I will be a lot faster on the court", Cobb said with a smile. She knows one thing for sure... Once a Hornet, Always a Hornet.
