WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: FINE FINISH

Fullerton finished the regular season on a high winning their fifth consecutive conference game 85-51 at Orange Coast College Friday night.

The Hornets end the regular season with an overall record of 18-10, a best since the 2011-12 season when Debi Woelke's team finished 21-9. FC wrapped up the Orange Empire Conference with a commendable record of 10-4, a fourth place finish.

Fullerton began the game on fire with a 17-2 run and never let go of the lead. FC took their largest lead of 32 with 8 minutes left in the game and cruised on for the victory.

The Hornets shot well from the floor at 40.8% to OCC's 30.9%. They also owned the key bringing down 56 rebounds to the Pirate's 32.

Tristian Johns had a game-leading 22 points with 8 rebounds. Fia Tailele-Latu dropped in 13 points with 9 rebounds, and 5 assists. Jaelyn Alderete and Hannah Jones both scored 9 points for the win.
