RAMOS COMMITS TO WESTCLIFF

FC sophomore center Janelle Ramos made her choice over the three-day weekend signing with Westcliff University. 

A 2nd Team All-Orange Empire Conference selection, Ramos was a force under the basket for the Hornets last season scoring 13.8 points a game with a team-high 8.3 rebounds per game. She also averaged 2.2 blocks. Janelle was recently honored at the Fullerton College Academic Athletic Awards, being named as the recipient of the Colleen Riley Memorial Women's Basketball Scholarship.

Westcliff will be getting a good one in Janelle as she is a hard worker that has a knack for rebounding and a nice mid-range shot. 

The Warriors had a stellar 2021-22 season in which the team finished 10-2 in the Cal Pac Conference qualifying for the NAIA national tournament in its first year of eligibility. Westcliff also claimed its first-ever All-NAIA national recognition for Trinity Vasquez (junior season).
