CATHILYN LEE IS THE OEC CHAMPION!

Hornet golfer Cathilyn Lee managed to win the Orange Empire Conference title at the OEC Finals at Rancho San Joaquin on Wednesday.

For the second consecutive year, the Fullerton College women's golf team has produced an OEC Champ. Last season, Chelsey Gutierrez won it all shooting a season average of 77.4. In 2022, Lee won the individual title with a season average of 75.9.

Rounding out Fullerton's individual efforts (out of 55 golfers) were Ylianna Fernandez with a 4th place finish (78.3), 19th place Alyssa Vasquez (92.3), 26th Rhea Sigur (97.4), 28th Liviana Griffin (98.2), and Tabitha Isom (141.3).

Fullerton placed 2nd overall in the team standings behind Saddleback College, who are the 2022 champions. Taking third was College of the Desert with Orange Coast, Mt. San Jacinto, Cuyamaca, and Mt. SAC following.
