WOMEN'S SOCCER: HORNETS SIGN WTH 4 YEAR COLLEGES

Three FC soccer players will play at the four-year level next season. Mallory Van Voorhis signed with Colorado Christian, Nicole Garcia signed with Missouri Valley, and Emily Horan signed with Minnesota State Moorhead.

Sophomore Van Voorhis played goalie in 20 games this past season netting 121 saves with 33 goals against. In 2014, she played in 17 games with 78 saves and had 24 goals against. A two-time 1st Team All-Orange Empire Conference standout, Mallory was recently awarded Fullerton College's Donna Cherry award for her excellent field and leadership abilities.

A two-year starter for the Hornets, Garcia had a goal and an assist in 2014. A strong defender, she was a 2nd Team All-OEC selection.

Emily Horan was a two-year starter for the Hornets and is known for her strong defensive skills.

"All three of these athletes are going to be very productive at their new schools. I am excited for Mallory, Nicole and Emily as they embark on their new adventures, and I know they will make us all proud", Head Coach Pam Lewin.
