WOMEN'S SOCCER: EDGED OUT BY THE DONS

The FC women's soccer team hosted Santa Ana College in a Orange Empire game on Tuesday losing a close one to the Dons 1-0.

The loss gives the Hornets an overall record of 1-7 overall and a conference record of 0-5, while the Dons now stand at 5-3-2 overall and 1-2-2 in the OEC.

The game's lone goal was scored in the 27th minute on a free kick just outside the box that was healed in by Santa Ana's Alejandra Peinado.

The Hornets has their chances to score narrowly missing on a few occasions.

FC goalkeeper Kennedy Heywood played well with 5 saves on the day allowing the one goal.

Up Next: Fullerton (1-7, 0-5) will play in a non-conference game at Citrus College this Friday, September 30th. Game time is at 3:00 pm.
