FC SWIM & DIVE ON THE RISE
The Hornets turned some heads this past weekend at the Pasadena City College Invitational.
The women's team placed 3rd overall out of 10 teams with 419 points.
The 200-yard relay team of Amanda Ellerbroek, Estelle Zhou, Jordyn Lughart, and Anoushka Jaievsky placed 3rd with a finish of 1:44.91.
Neida Torres took 10th out of 26 swimmers in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 6:02.93, while Jordyn Lughart placed 12th with a finish of 6:09.34.
Carmen Liberto took 11th place out of 17 swimmers in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:47.75
In the 200-yard Freestyle, Neida Torres placed 6th overall out of 45 swimmers with a time of 2:11.61.
Anoushka Jaievsky was impressive in the 100-yard Butterfly taking 2nd place with a finish of 1:01.79. Sarah Powers was 16th with a time of 1:21.33. Jaievsky also took 2nd in the 100-yard Breaststroke (1:11.00).
The FC men's team placed 6th out of 9 teams with 135 points.
