FC TAKES DOWN LA MISSION
The FC women's tennis team welcomed the 2025 season with a 6-3 home-win against LA Mission on Friday afternoon.
In doubles play, the FC team of Arleth Vega-Estevez and Alyssa Lopez won as did the team of Devyn Zuniga and Giana Morales.
The Hornets had a strong showing in singles with four out of six players winning their matches. Arleth Vega-Estevez won 7-5, 7-6-5, Alyssa Lopez took her match 6-2, 7-5, Devyn Zuniga won 6-1, 6-1, and Azurae Jeffery won 7-5, 6-1.
Up Next: The Hornets (1-0 overall) won't play again until Tuesday, February 4th when they travel up the 605 Freeway to Rio Hondo College for a non-conference match at 2:00 pm.
