OUT-RUNNING THE ROADRUNNERS

The Hornets took a road trip up to Rio Hondo College on Tuesday afternoon and beat the Roadrunners 8-1.

Fullerton got off to a great start winning all three doubles matches. The FC No. 1 team of Josie Miranda and Arleth Vega-Estevez won 8-3, while Devyn Zuniga and Giana Morales won 8-6. The duo Azurae Jeffery and Kayla Herbert were outstanding taking their match 8-1.

In singles-play, winners were Josie Miranda (6-0, 6-0), Arleth Vega-Estevez (6-2, 6-0), Azurae Jeffery (6-2-61), Giana Morales (6-3, 6-3), and Kayla Herbert (6-0, 6-3).

Up Next: The Hornets (2-0 overall) will get back at it again this Friday, February 7th when the team travels to Ventura College for a 1:00 pm match.
