WINNING AT SOUTHWESTERN

The Hornets took a trip down to Southwestern College on Friday afternoon for a non-conference match and after a long day came back victorious 8-1.

In a close doubles match, Josie Miranda and Justine Koo took the loss 8-6, but their teammates made up for it winning the next two matches taking doubles-play 2-1. Arleth Vega-Estevez/Alyssa Lopez won their match 8-6, while Devyn Zuniga/Giana Morales won 8-0.

Fullerton swept through the Jaguars in singles with Josie Miranda clinching the victory for her team with a 6-4, 6-1 win. Justine Koo won 6-3, 6-2 and Arleth Vega-Estevez won 6-4, 6-2. Wins were also had by Alyssa Lopez (6-0, 6-0), Devyn Zuniga (6-4, 6-2), and Azurae Jeffery (6-0, 6-1).
