GETTING THE WIN VS. SADDLEBACK
In an Orange Empire Conference match, the Hornets got back on track at home Wednesday morning with a 7-2 win over Saddleback College.
Dropping its last three matches, Fullerton got back in the win column and is now 7-7 overall and 2-4 in conference-play.
The Hornets took two out of three matches in doubles-play with Josie Miranda/Justine Koo winning 8-4 and Kristal Mendoza/Kayla Herbert winning 8-1.
In singles, Josie Miranda battled hard winning her match in close fashion 6-2, 1-6, 7-6. Justine Koo sailed through her match 6-4, 6-2 and Alyssa Lopez swept through hers 6-0, 6-0. Clinching the team victory for Fullerton was Azurae Jeffery with a 6-3, 6-4 match-win. Kristal Mendoza also won her match 6-3, 6-4.
Up Next: Fullerton (7-7 overall, 2-4 OEC) will head down south to Grossmont College for a non-conference match on Thursday, March 27th. Matches will begin at 2:00 pm.
