WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL: FC COMES UP SHORT VS. LBCC

After two consecutive wins, the Hornets dropped a match at home Wednesday night to Long Beach City College 3-1.

The first set belonged to the Vikings as they jumped ahead early taking it 25-16. Fullerton came back strong in the second set coming from behind to win 26-24. Set three was another close one with Long Beach coming out on top 25-21. The fourth and final set belonged to the Vikings 25-20 as FC did their best to stay in it.

Saylor Frew led Fullerton in kills and digs bringing down 22 while uprooting 17. Samaria Longstreet had 8 kills and Faith Webb contributed 5. Priscilla Gutierrez helped out with 14 digs, Hannah Tobin had 12, Webb had 9. Karen Delgadillo chipped in with 32 assists and 10 digs.

Up Next: The Hornets (4-4 overall) will try and pick it back up this Friday, September 20th when they open conference-play at Irvine Valley College. Game time is at 6:00 pm
