The Hornets took a dip in Saddleback College's pool on Wednesday and handed the Gauchos 15-8 loss.
After exchanging shots in the first minutes of the game, Fullerton went on to score four unanswered goals taking a 5-1 lead by the end of the first quarter.
The second quarter saw only three goals scored with FC owning a 7-2 lead by halftime.
The Hornets took over the game in the third quarter out scoring the Gauchos 4-1 to break the game open at 11-3.
Saddleback did their best to make a run scoring four goals, but the damage had been done as FC went on to win their second Orange Empire Conference game.
Freshman Alexandra Lopez led the way for Fullerton scoring 6 goals. Abigail Nunez scored 4 goals and Briana Portales tossed in 2. Tarsis Ledezma and Diana Leivas scored a goal each for the win.
Up Next: The Hornets (9-2 overall, 2-1 OEC) will play at the Cuesta College tournament this weekend September 28-29.
