Riding a 14-game win streak FC swept through all four teams they faced at the Ventura College Tournament over the weekend.

On Friday, FC took out Mt. SAC 18-3 and then went on to beat Merced 17-4 a bit later in the day. Against the Mounties, Amanda Ellerbroek was the goal leader with 4. Adrianna Wong scored a game-high 4 goals against Merced.

On Saturday, Fullerton was victorious over San Joaquin Delta 13-5. Jordyn Lughart punched in 4 goals against the Mustangs, while Neida Torres put in 3.

In the fourth and final game the Hornets had a big test in No. 3 Santa Barbara City College. After falling behind 4-0 by the end of the first quarter, FC stepped up taking a 5-4 lead into halftime. When the dust cleared, Fullerton pulled the game off 9-7. Nikki Salerno stepped up big for FC scoring 3 goals, had 3 assists, and 4 steals. Goalie Alex Airitam held the strong in the box with 4 steals, while holding the Vaqueros scoreless in the second quarter and limiting them to a goal in the fourth.
