24TH ACADEMIC ATHLETIC AWARDS

It was a busy year filled with many individual accomplishments and team successes as the Fullerton College Athletics Department welcomed student-athletes, parents, faculty, and administration into the Hornets Nest on Thursday afternoon for the 24th Academic Athletic Awards honoring excellence in academics and athletic achievement.
LEE CROWNED CCCAA INDIVIDUAL STATE CHAMPION

FC's Cathilyn Lee was crowned as the 2022 CCCAA Individual State Champion after shooting a 75-79-154 during the two-day State Tournament at Morro Bay.

Fullerton College continues its quest to a CCCAA (California Community College Athletic Association) State Championship by finishing in second place behind Regional Champion Saddleback College in the two-day The Southern California CCCAA Regional Golf Championship which concluded yesterday at El Prado's Butterfield Stage Golf Course (par 72) in Chino Hills.

Hornet golfer Catherine Lee managed to win the Orange Empire Conference title at the OEC Finals at Rancho San Joaquin on Wednesday.

The FC women's golf team hosted its only Orange Empire Conference event on Monday afternoon at the Fullerton Golf Course and had the best individual finish of the day.

The Hornet golf squad had a good day at Chino Creek (hosted by Mt. SAC) on Wednesday tying for 1st place in individual-play and 2nd in team.

The golf team played at Arroyo Trabuco (hosted by Saddleback College) and once again this week placed 3rd overall missing second by a stroke.

On Tuesday, the FC women's golf team played at the Mesa Linda Course (hosted by Orange Coast) and placed 3rd overall.

The Hornets placed second overall at the Soboba Golf Course on Wednesday hosted by Mt. San Jacinto College.

On Monday, the Hornets took 4th place out of seven teams at the Iron Woods Golf Course hosted by College of the Desert.
